The story seems to be told by his adult self and how he remembers that Christmas.  * Home Alone - Released in 1990      A beloved family comedy about Kevin McCallister , an ...

What I Am Reading - Christmas at the Cupcake Cafe

  -   November 24, 2025   Issy Randall, proud owner of The Cupcake Cafe, is in love and couldn't be happier. Her new business is thriving, and she is surrounded by close friends, even if her cupcake colleagues Pearl and Caroline don't seem quite as upbeat about the upcoming season of snow and merriment. But when her boyfriend Austin is scouted for a possible move to New York, Issy is forced to face up to the prospect of a long-distance romance. And when the Christmas rush at the cafe - with its increased demand for her delectable creations - begins to take its toll, Issy has to decide what she holds most dear. This December, Issy will have to rely on all her reserves of courage, good nature and cinnamon, to make sure everyone has a merry Christmas, one way or another... Mammaw's Attic - Welcome

Welcome! I am so excited to begin to share this new adventure with all of my friends here in blog world and on the internet. I am starting a YouTube channel as well as an online social media presence known as Mammaw's Attic , where I will read a story to children daily.   I know that my children loved to be read to and my grandchildren do as well. I think it is an area that many children are missing in their lives. I hoping to find a niche that will allow busy parents to share a story with their children and not have to read it themselves.  There will be Bible stories , regular stories, Dr. Suess stories , and holiday themed stories . I will also be sharing book reviews and possibly some Amazon links here as well. I will be doing the same on all the other media platforms.  Mammaws Attic  is starting on YouTube and I will be posting my first story shortly. Below you will be able to see my introductory video .  Welcome!
